Ken Burns’ film “The War - DVD & Soundtrack at PBS

After one day of Ken Burns’ film “The War” on PBS, I can see what the big deal is. The movie is showing an insightful, unique perspective of the individual and personal side of World War II.

Other than my previous service in the 29th Infantry Division (Light) - a unit decorated for its performance on Omaha Beach - and a visit to Normandy, I have wanted to learn more about WW II. This series gives me an opportunity to do so.

Here at MyTroops, one of our participating retailers is ShopPBS.Org. PBS recently launched a WW II section on its website. (As of this moment, you save 20 percent on Ken Burns titles when you purchase “The War” DVD or combo.)

Feel free to shop for the film or soundtrack using this link. Our Featured Troop earns rewards from your regular online shopping.
